Y1 YLB 50 Low Bow Hockey Stick (25)

The YLB 50 makes Y1's drag-flick-focused YLB profile accessible to players building their game. A 50% premium Japanese carbon and 50% aramid/fibreglass layup keeps it forgiving and easy to play, while the Carbon Power Chain — with its knife-cut head shape and tapered under-blade — still delivers enhanced drag-flicking ability without compromising the basics.

At ~525g with a 39cm balance and a 24.5mm bow at 200mm, it's a controllable, developing-player drag-flick stick. Carbon-neutral, like every Y1 stick.

What is the Carbon Power Chain?

Y1's technology enabling a knife-cut head and tapered under-blade, designed to enhance drag-flicking.

Is 50% carbon enough for performance?

It's a forgiving, accessible build that still delivers the YLB drag-flick profile — ideal for developing players, with less stiffness than higher-carbon models.

Is Y1 carbon-neutral?

Yes — the only carbon-neutral hockey brand, offsetting the emissions of every stick.
